Setting the standard cost of finished product is now easier. Packaging is a critical control point in costing, so we’ve always enforced you to review costs at this point. However, you no longer have to manually enter the calculated standard cost into the stock item.
Once reviewed, simply click the ‘Use as standard cost’ button.
This sets the standard cost of that stock item to be used in all financial or other reports. You can view the ‘Standard Cost’ set when looking at the ‘Costings’ area of the stock item.
